About this part
The Kadee Whisker series is a true drop-in coupler with no centering springs to fumble with and no multi-piece assemblies. It is made in the USA. The #143 is interchangeable with the #23 and most manufacturers' short centerset OEM knuckle couplers. For a #33 equivalent, use the #143 in a #252 gearbox.
Includes
- Two pair #143 whisker metal couplers
- Short centerset shank
- Two pair #242 snap-together gearboxes and lids
- Two spare #622 knuckle springs
- Metal couplers should not sit directly on a metal surface or in a metal draft gearbox, because that can cause electrical crossover, shorting and damage. Use the provided insulated gearbox or an insulated #23 coupler.
