About this part
A BK-designed 13mm shock piston from JConcepts, machined from low-friction Delrin and sold as a pair. It is listed for 13mm Associated shocks. The slotted design began as a prototype machined by BK, and it was developed during 2016, when mid-motor vehicles needed grip on low-traction dirt. Grip matters again as cornering ability has improved, so the piston came back. Dimples on top let the racer dial in settings for a specific track or condition. Notes from the team: test drivers reported more grip with this design. The BK channel increases the oil volume in the shock.
