About this part
This 3A UBEC is a switch-mode DC-DC regulator that runs from a 2-6 cell lithium pack, or from 5-18 cells of NiMH or NiCd. It supplies steady, safe voltage to the receiver, gyro, and servos, and it suits RC helicopters well.
Features
- An advanced switch-mode DC-DC regulator IC.
- Strong output even on 4-6 cell LiPo packs.
- Protection against reversed battery polarity.
- A metal shield over most of the electronics, plus a filter on the output wires, to cut electromagnetic interference.
- An LED that lights when the output is in its normal range.
