The Axe-Foc R2 is a sensored 540L 2100kv brushless motor, described as the first FOC brushless system for rock crawlers. Field-oriented control delivers strong torque, very linear response and extremely quiet operation. A chip-type magnetic encoder inside the motor keeps the three phase signals consistent and reports the rotor position cleanly. Polarity protection is built in. The waterproof and dustproof design is rated IP67, so the system handles wet and dusty conditions. Still, monitor the vehicle closely when running in mud, wet or adverse conditions. Intelligent torque output and speed closed-loop control keep motor RPM consistent under any load. The 4-pole, 12-magnet motor uses Hobbywing's patented staggered pole design, which removes cogging effect and torque ripple.
