Castle Creations 4-Pole Sensored Brushless Motor, 1717-1260Kv

About this part

The Castle 1717-1260KV is a 4-pole, 12-slot motor built for efficiency and lower heat. It brings back the classic 4-pole layout with sensored capability. It suits 1/6 scale vehicles up to 20 lbs running up to 8S LiPo, and it is a strong choice for 1/8 scale vehicles that need a reliable, high-torque 8S motor. Running modes are SmartSense sensored and an ultra-efficient sensorless mode. The rotor uses high-strength, high-temperature neodymium sintered magnets with a high-strength Kevlar wrap, so it holds up under harsh running. Oversized NMB bearings and a vibration dampening system extend bearing life. Proprietary winding produces a stator with very low resistance, which keeps the motor cooler. The updated design is sleek as well as capable.
