Foam-Cure is a clear silicone-based adhesive for EPP and EPO foams. It cures more flexibly than CA and is not instant, since it has no accelerator. For a faster initial hold, apply it to one piece, join, then separate. After about ten minutes of air drying, rejoining gives contact-cement tack for the next steps. Full strength arrives in 10 to 12 hours. It works with all foams and bonds most other materials, including wood and plastic to foam, and it is a good canopy glue. It is not flexible enough to serve as a hinge for control surfaces. Large areas of two non-porous materials are a poor fit, because the adhesive needs air to dry. Over 90 percent of it would stay uncured between a half-dollar and glass, since the solvent has nowhere to go.
