The kit arrangement uses an 11mm inside-diameter pad with a heavy 500 lb/in spring, which suits high-load carpet. The 3-pad conversion uses a standard 19mm inside-diameter pad and a softer spring. The result is a smoother throttle feel and slower engagement for drivers who want a softer clutch. Instructions are included. The conversion runs with the #92275 RC10B74.1 Slipper Shaft Outdrive Set from the RC10B74.1 kit. That set is not included. Fits RC10B74.1 and RC10B74.1D.
