About this part
This is an Edsel, and it is AMT's tongue-in-cheek take on early altered wheelbase funny cars. Built from all-new tooling, it is fun and easy enough for any modeler with moderate experience. The kit combines a 1958 Edsel body with an altered wheelbase drag chassis. The rear wheel wells sit in a forward altered wheelbase position, so the fender skirts are optional. Accessories include an outhouse door front bumper, a busted side ladder, skirts, and mud flaps. The decals were recreated and expanded, and the kit comes in a box that recalls the original paper bag packaging. Fits: general hobby universal fit car parts
