About this part
This 1/104 scale PBY-5A Catalina US Navy seaplane comes from the classic Monogram tooling. It was one of the first aircraft kits the company produced, alongside the B-26 and B-25. The kit has engraved markings and many rivets. It has a 12-inch wingspan and measures 8.25 inches long. Decals are included for two versions, and the kit includes a sprue of six clear parts. The artwork is new and shows a PBY rescuing men from the USS Indianapolis. The oval PBY logo on the decal sheet can be used to mount the model on the clear globe swivel stand, which is sold separately.
