About this part
This 1/24 scale 1926 Mack Bulldog stake truck is molded in yellow, black, and clear, with rubber tires. The kit has a highly detailed interior, engine, and stake bed. It has over 125 parts and measures 10.5 inches long. Original box art and a decal sheet are included. The kit was designed by Tom Daniel and Bob Johnson and was the first Monogram kit made of this truck, in the 1970s. The 1915 Mack AC Bulldog helped set a new standard for commercial trucks. Its sloping hood and four-cylinder engine became known for reliability, and the phrase "built like a Mack" grew out of the truck's sturdy construction. In the 1920s, these trucks handled hauling jobs such as moving logs in the Pacific Northwest forests. The model's 4-cylinder power plant is highly detailed, and its tires resemble the solid rubber tires used on the original trucks.
