This science kit is part of the Science Project Series and introduces the one-celled animals known as protozoa. It contains three finely detailed models of Amoeba, Euglena, and Paramecium. Each is enlarged more than a thousand times life size to show its shape, structure, and components. The parts are molded in crystal clear styrene. The full-dimension Amoeba shows its outer shape on one side and an internal cross-section on the back. The engraved plaque models of Euglena and Paramecium show their details. All three fit an attractive, labeled display stand. A biology background booklet with assembly instructions is included. The finished unit measures 14 by 7 by 3 inches.
